Dear Friends,

I am making a concerted effort to support greater diversity in our General Assembly in 2018 and to swing the House of Delegates towards a more progressive agenda. To that end, I would like you to join me for a fund raiser in support of Ken Boddye on the 7th of May from 3-5 PM. Ken is seeking the Democratic Nomination for 51st District, so that he might unseat Rich Anderson. Ken has been building his campaign for more than a year and has demonstrated his support for several efforts committed to bring greater equality in PWC.

Please go to to RSVP for this event or if you are unable to attend, to make a contribution to Ken’s campaign. Alternatively, you can print, complete, and return the attached flyer to me. Our goal is to raise $3800 to support Ken’s campaign.

For more information about Ken, please go to

We expect this event to observe a non-attribution policy in order to facilitate a freer exchange of ideas.

Please contact the hosts (Don Shaw and Joyce Connery) at or to let them know you’ll be attending. You can let us know what you’ll be bringing at our Potluck Signup. If you’re on Facebook, you can also get more information here. Encourage friends or neighbors who may not be involved to join us!

Eat, Drink & Vote: 2017 Primary Candidate Forum Hosted by Frank J. Principi

2017 Democratic Candidate Forum Hosted By Frank J. Principi

All eyes are on Virginia, and Prince William County will play a pivotal role in the resistance against Trump and his cronies. We have eight seats up for grabs in the Virginia House of Delegates and three competitive races at the top of the ticket. On April 26th, I’m holding a fundraiser to show support for the candidates who have stepped forward to fight back and participate in the event.

This is a demonstration of our party unity and diversity in the face of hatred and division coming from Washington.

I ask that you join us at Harbour View on the 26th to hear from participating candidates, sign-up to volunteer, and leave feeling inspired!

Confirmed candidates include Justin Fairfax, Gene Rossi, Hala Ayala, Ken Boddye, Lee Carter, Jennifer Connor Foy, Elizabeth Guzman, Steve Jansen, Mansimran Kahlon, Josh King, and Danica Roem.

Food will be provided and an open bar will be available.
